How To Spot Ladies Desperately Looking For Boyfriends

We all know that NO lady would ever admit chasing a
guy. They also chase dudes in a coded manner and
pretend they don't probably because they are naturally
born pretenders. They are always like, despite the species
of guys begging me to date them" God forbid I woo a
man", if he can't make advances, let him bleep off jawe
Without much ado, lemme keep the ball rolling
Just grab your mat and if you don't have one, kindly sit
on your coconut tree
1. She Utilizes Opportunity
She spots a guy whom she likes standing in front of her
compound, she tries to come out even if she has nothing
doing outside and that's when she remembers the grass
in front of their house has not been cleared since the time
of Soddom and Gommara, she goes inside and picks a
cutlass and while cutting, she starts gazing at him hoping
he would come to say "oooooh pretty, lemme do this for
you".. Hahaha !!!
2. Status Updates
You see updates like, "I'm a woman of virtue and I know
it"; anyone who finds the key to my heart finds a treasure;
I really want to know what love is.. This updates however
catches fancy
3. Chilling Alone At The Eatery
She might just get dressed and chill at the nearest eatery.
She orders for what she wants and pretends she only
came to enjoy herself and nothing more but deep within
herself, she's hoping a random dude would come and ask
her why she is seated all alone
4. She's Wants You To Strike Up A Convo
Imagine you both met each other at a shop and she was
being attended to because she came earlier than you.
After buying her stuffs, she no go go lae lae.. She remains
there hopin you would say hi to her.. **many ladies
would deny this**
5. Smiling Unnecessarily
Hahaha Someone that doesn't smile at home will
start smiling the way Usain Bolt smiles when he wins
gold medal. You "hi" her and she's already smiling
6. She Includes Her Phone Number/PIN On Social
Network
You see her PIN/phone number on social media. She
purposely included it in her profile because she knows
request would definitely be rolling in from various species
of dudes
7. She Gives You Close Marking
You are both reading in the classroom and the moment
she spots you, she packs her book and sits next to you.
She's like, pls can you explain COM 101 to me better
because I find it difficult to comprehend. **if I hear say
na her mission be dat **
8. She's Extraordinary Humble
When frustration of boyfriend comes, a very rude lady
becomes extra ordinarily nice and you'd be like, this babe
is humble to the core. (Ironically she's not like that at
home).
9. She Sends You Friend Request & Denies It
She must have heard about you so she decided to add
you up. She pretends she doesn't know how you got into
her list
10 . NOTICE ME Attitude
When she sees various species of dudes clustered around
a particular place, she keeps doing things just to get
noticed.. She starts speaking grammar stylishly gazing at
them if what she's saying is audible

How do you know he is an husband material?
1. He calls you often and asks how your day went.
He does this in a friendly manner. He doesn't "act" it.
2. He visits you on sick bed and perhaps sleeps there with
you.
This implies that he is willing to accept your "ups" and your
"downs" alike.
3. He loves your siblings as his own.
He loves your siblings and plays with them carefreely? Haba,
think about it!
4. He talks to you with respect.

pets you
He doesn't leave you to yourself. He scolds within but with

He plans his future and includes you. That's a major sign.

Seven Ironies Of Ladies

DISCLAIMER: If this thread doesn't apply to you, don't
condemn it. It applies to a lot from my keen observation.
You wonder what's in her heart sometimes. If you look at her
façade and expression, you may miss out- look inward.
It is ironical sometimes when you can't decipher what a lady
really wants, : she connotes A and truly wants J. Hmm
Seven Irony Of Ladies Are:
1. The "bossy-looking" ones are usually the most simple
ones.
She talks and acts like a woman of action. At work, she is
strict and firm , don't you dare think she unemotional. She's
just too "built up" and proud to admit it. If you are pester her
with so much care and sweet words, she'll open up to you
"yakata"! This works 99.9%.
Mind you, She was doing all that because she's too scared of
a heart break.
2. The Ones That Snubs You And Doesn't "Send You" Is
Actually Into You
Come to think of it. You're one of the most popular guys in
your department. Every lady talks to you except her. She
doesn't look your direction is a more sure sign she is madly
in love with you. Chill out! Watch it, she knows you on
Facebook. In NL, she doesn't like to be seen viewing your
thread sef
3. The Quiet Ones Are Often The Most Corrupt.
Hian! How many times have we seen a very gentle looking girl,
well dressed and meek. You then hear of things...things she's
been exposed to. You're like, what! Take your eyes off loud
chicks, keep them on quiet ones. Have you heard? Green
snake in the green grass?
Check her phone and see her pix, videos and messages. Hmm,
her message box is often empty. lolzz.
4. The Indoor Ones Are Often Loudmouthed on Social Network
Lol! See her in real life and you'll see a boring person to be
with. Even chat her up and you'll regret why. In NL? She is a
TIGER about to devour. She talks dirty and flirty.
In real life...leave the matter for matthias joor!
5. The Ones That Always Want To "Correct" You Cares For
You
Don't get it twisted. If she storms your thread with a battalion
of army, don't reply with hate. MOST TIMES, she likes you.
Don't feel infuriated too soon. Why? Love corrects.
6. The Naturally Pretty Ones Are Often Shy To Face People.
You would think these set will be outgoing and all of that, but
most at times, they are just simple. They have simple lives.
Wear simple clothes. Spend half a day on their iPhone.
This is often misquoted for pride and ego whereas she is just
shy. Guy, dig deeper!
7. The Un-Pretty Ones Are Assuming The Office Of "Hard-To-
Gets".
Lol! I don't know why. I can't explain it. I just don't
understand. It's not like you should not "form", but for how
long? "Shoe has size" isn't for only guys o...Abeg, park well,
say Yes to him before he sends you to Recycle bin and still
deletes you.
You know yourself, I know myself
Be yourself, you are not Miley Cyrus, KK, Barbie or
Rihanna...You're You!
Be You!
Good evening

The metaphysics of love

Those that answer Valentine dread the month of February like
a plague. Besides, close friends who always demand that you
celebrate your name in grand style, most confront you with all
manner of questions bordering on the concept that your name
is supposed to embody. Thus, you are asked whether you
were born on the 14th of February or whether you were a by-
product of love affair that took place in the month of February.
One fact I have come to discover over the years is that people
take those that bear the name of Valentine as experts in all
known techniques of love, starting with its fundaments to its
metaphysics.
Despite much research, we cannot tell unarguably the exact
date the feast started, nor the route by which it entered into
history. Perhaps it is connected to the life of a certain St.
Valentine who was said to have suffered martyrdom in Rome
as the Church hagiography would want us to believe. Perhaps,
as the legend of the saint’s heroic faith says, it grew out of
the love shown to prisoners by the saintly Valentine. Perhaps
it has to do with the period in the year when birds of the earth
look for mates. Perhaps it is another case of substitution of a
pagan feast by Christian feast as a subtle way of blighting
paganism at the bud. We do not know. Valentine’s Day is part
of history whose beginning has been forgotten, and whose end
we shall never reach.
The popularity of Valentine’s Day could be linked to the nature
of the theme it celebrates – love. Writing about love,
Archbishop Fulton Sheen called it “the most used, and the
most misunderstood word.” The misunderstanding inherent in
the nature of love often provokes people to ask questions
such as: How much of what we claim as love is love indeed?
Does love have different levels and spheres? Is it possible to
love our neighbour as ourselves, as the Holy writ prescribes?
What is love? These are the questions with which the most
comprehensive theories, treatises, and analyses of love find it
necessary to begin.
To the Greeks, love could be Eros, Philia, and agape. Plato’s
ladder of love in the Symposium has different loves for its
rungs, up to what we commonly call “Platonic Love”. St
Thomas Aquinas distinguishes between love in the sphere of
the passion and love as an act of will. The former he assigns
to what he calls the “concupiscible faculty” of the sensitive
appetite; the latter, to the rational or “intellectual appetite”.
Sometimes, people talk about metaphysical, contemplative,
material and acquisitive love, etc.
Whatever form love takes, it implies a complex psychical
experience of strong attraction to, intense desire for, vivid ap
preciation of, a profound interest in, ones object of love. The
object of love could be a fellow being, institution, cause or
even nature. It involves tender affection, sympathetic
understanding, admiration and loyalty, with reference to its
object.
But apart from a few people who recognize the fact of
plurality of love in their analyses, most of us, especially the
youth, talk abundantly of love, commonly in the sense of
amorous appetite. These are people who confess their loving
the object of their love more than their own mothers. Recall
the “sugar in my tea” and similar stuff. Our elders consider
this form of love to be a form of “possession” or “madness”,
and would frown at anyone who would propose it as a fit
guide in the choice of marriage mate. They do this, knowing
that once the erotic side of love diminishes or fades away
altogether, the disinterested element fades too; interest in the
other’s happiness evaporates, all tender feeling is eroded, and
the one desire is to get away. This is what Lucretius called
“erotic befuddlement”. What Dedriot deridedly described as
“the voluptuous loss of a few drops of liquid.” It is a spark
thrown off by the contact or nearness of two opposite bodies.
In pursuit of this type of love there is nothing that human
beings have not done, or are not capable of doing. The love
portion that some ladies brew for men they suspect of
unrequited love has no platonic aim. It is not out of
generosity, rather to get the object of their longing, that men
spend lots of money in wooing women. Women themselves do
as much. To attract men, they dress in manners to arouse
precipitate passion. Eyelashes are darkened with gum
ammonia. Checks and lips are painted with sticks of minium
or alkanet roots. Adjustable eyebrows are used and often
pencilled with lampblack or pulverized or sulphuret of
antimony, sometimes it is thinned to diverse shapes or shaved
off entirely and painted “crescent moons” or other forms.
Eyelids are shaded with kohl. All sort of things are rubbed on
the face, in the hope that it will make them look beautiful.
Some in the villages still wrap their fingernails over night with
henna leaves to make them purple. Padded brassieres are
used to make the breast look poised and … Breast en
hancement has since become part of beauty regimen. There is
no part of the woman’s body, in pursuit of men, that has not
been perfected, decorated, refined, stretched and squeezed,
bleached, reformed, compacted and shortened.
Higher than the afore-described love is what is often called
genuine friendship. In this type of love, there is often the
predominance of altruistic motives. It springs from mutual
admiration. Here, love is thought to precede desire and to
determine its wishes. Marriages built upon this type of love
are often successful. Mature lovers discover that marriage
transcends the act of multiplication of the species or the
fantasy of sexual acts. There are some men who think that all
a woman appreciates in a man is when he brandishes the
erectile organ to her satisfaction. No. Marriage is more than
that. It demands deep understanding and maturity from both
partners.
All the foregoing classifications and distinctions, inexhaustible
though, belong to the theory of human love. But the fact of
love’s diversity extends to the Christian theory of love.
Christianity brought about a basic shift in man’s thinking
about love. Christianity sees love not in the emotion or
passion, but from the infinite perfection and creativity of God.
Writing to the Corinthians (2 Cor 13: 6) St Paul said that
“love takes no pleasure in other people’s sins but delights in
the truth…”God Himself is love (I John 4: 4). “Love ye one
another”. In this profound sentence, God summarized all the
commandments. Love rules the world and was, perhaps, as
Parmenides thought, “the very first thing created by the gods
to rule the world”.
The key to peace in the world is for men to embrace the
ethics of Christ – love. Confucius taught a version of it in his
rule of reciprocity (golden rule). Immanuel Kant espoused it in
his book, The Metaphysics of Morals in what he called the
“Maxims of Categorical Imperative”. All great religions teach
it. Until we start to imbibe this golden rule (love), the battle to
re-make the world can as well be labelled a utopia.
The sooner we use the day of Valentine to promote this type
of love, the better the world will become. Here we are again
celebrating another Valentine. How do we make it serve the
purpose of making the world a better place? Is it for us just a
day to buy expensive Valentine’s gifts and flowers and caress
one another in the happy ignorance of the true meaning of
love? These are the central questions.

How I had three kids in four years –TIMI DAKOLO

Winner, Idols West Africa, Timi Dakolo, has opened on mar
riage and fatherhood describing it as the climax of every
man’s dream. In an exclusive chat with The Entertainer at the
Congress Hall of Nicon Hilton Hotel, Abuja, recently, the vocal
powerhouse, who tied the knot in 2012 to his baby mama,
Busola, declared that marriage has transformed him.
“Marriage has really transformed me,” Dakolo begins, a soft
smile playing across his lips as he speaks, “life is not just
what it used to be any more I must confess. I can’t do a lot
of things I want to do anymore because now I am married
and it has made me more responsible. These days I think for
more than just one person. Marriage makes you start every
journey with an end in mind and that is the joy of being
married.
“Even as I speak to you I am thinking of how I will pay school
fees and house rent. A lot of responsibility comes with
marriage but then, it also comes with a lot of favour;
undeserved favour, favour you can’t even explain being
showered upon you from left right and centre.
“When you are married and your home is stable, it comes with
a lot of blessings you can’t explain. People treat you
differently, even God Himself brings things your way and you
begin to see the world differently because things just click,” he
says, snapping his fingers to drive home his point adding,
“you can’t even explain why and you don’t know how it
happens; that is the truth. Especially if you are at peace in
your home, things just begin to click.”
Timi says he is grateful to God for the understanding he has
with his wife, Busola, the mother of his kids and discloses
that one thing he has always prayed to God for is an
understanding and caring wife who would understand him and
his moods because of his creativity.
“Before I got married I prayed to God for a woman who would
understand me and my moods because I could be very easily
distracted and destabilised so I wanted a woman that would
not give me trouble but rather, complement me.
“The truth is when I am troubled and distressed I could be the
least creative person for as much as four days at a stretch so
because I wanted peace in my home, because I wanted
somebody that would understand when I tell her that ‘baby,
you can’t talk to me now I am writing,’ and she wouldn’t get
upset, I had to pray a lot and I thank God I found that person
in my wife.
“Now you could tell that to some people and they would get
very angry and upset with you but my wife does not because
she understands and sometimes, when I am busy and the kids
are getting in the way she tells them ‘don’t go there, daddy
wants to be alone.’
“She understands my moods. That is how we are. She is my
greatest critique. A man’s greatest achievement is marriage.
Marriage has transformed even my music.”
Iyawo Mi
So dedicated is Timi to his wife that he has dedicated a song
to her on his latest album entitled Iyawo Mi.
“Yes of course, Iyawo Mi is a song on my soon to be released
album,” Dakolo says excitedly. “The single was released a
while ago and it is dedicated to my wife. I can’t be singing
R&B and not dedicate a song to my wife; it is not possible.”
So now that he is married, are the girls still coming after him?
He pauses for a while before he responds philosophically
quoting a Bible passage: “The Bible says ‘many are the
afflictions of the righteous man.’ What I do is that I stay out
of trouble and the way I avoid temptation is by sitting in my
house and watching football, playing video games and doing
music, and I am always so happy at the end of the day.
“I always try to push my wife in people’s faces whenever I
have the opportunity because when it comes to temptation,
no man is as strong as he thinks he is and that is the truth.
So if you want to avoid temptation, just sit in your house and
don’t forget that our industry is a very unforgiving one; I don’t
want scandals.”
Idols West Africa
The vocal powerhouse also used the opportunity to talk about
his experience at Idols West Africa, the platform that gave him
a name and a voice and how he never believed he could be so
successful musically.
“I had big dreams but music was not part of it,” Dakolo
recounts, “I stumbled on music basically. Sometimes you
stumble on destiny on the road you are taking to avoid it. It
began with somebody telling me to go for West African Idols .
It was after West African Idols that I now said ‘okay, music is
something I just might do’ because in my house those days,
you can’t say you want to do music unless you are out of
your mind! They will tell you to first return all the fees they
paid to get you through school,” he says laughing.
Love & Consequences
With three successful albums in the kitty, Timi says work is
currently ongoing on his next body of work. Commenting on
his new album Timi continues: “I am recording a new album
entitled Love & Consequences. It is a 14 tracker. I have been
in Georgia, Atlanta, recording live with Cohbams because I
want my music to have that unique live feel.
“Love & Consequences is almost ready. The message is that
there are consequences for getting married whether negative
or positive. I have a song that is entitled Iyawo Mi which was
released a while ago and dedicated to Busola my wife: the
video is currently trending on YouTube. I have Wish Me Well ,
there is The Vow and there is also Stranded. My Great Nation
song is also on this album.
“And guess what; I have also started working on the album
after this one entitled Ateni’s Grandson which is dedicated to
my late grand mum, the woman who raised me.
“Ateni’s Grandson is basically about the things she told me
about life and a few songs from here and there. There is
another album I am also working on entitled The Rock Side of
Things. Like I said earlier, marriage will make you start a
journey with an end in mind.”
No more kids please…
And just three years after he tied the knot, Timi reveals that
he now has three kids and he is through with making babies:
“I have three kids now and I can confidently tell you that my
wife and I are done making children; no more kids because I
have three already. I am done with making babies.”
Three kids in four years, how did he pull it off? “My name is
Timi Dakolo and I get away with a lot of things,” he concludes
as we both share another round of hearty laughter.

PSquare’s Shekini VS Oritsefemi’s Double Wahala… Which ismore popular?

There has been an astronomic rise in the volume of hit songs
being churned out by Nigerian artistes in recent years. In fact,
so stiff is the competition music buffs argue that the average
life span of a hit song in Nigeria is just three months. Conse
quently, this week, Showdown features two of Nigeria’s cur
rently raving singles; P square’s Shekini and Oritsefemi’s Dou
ble Wahala, two of Naija’s most popular tracks as at last
count.
P-SQUARE:
Fraternal twins, Peter and Paul Okoye aka P-Square hail
from Ifite-Dunu, Anambra State, but were born in Jos,
Plateau State. They started off as members of Literary &
Debating Society at St Mulumba Secondary School, Jos,
Plateau State, mimicking popular acts like Michael Jackson,
MC Harmer and Bobby Brown. They formed groups such as
MMMP and later MMP aka Smooth Criminals before founding
P-Square. In 2001 they emerged winners at the Grab Tha Mic
competition sponsored by Benson & Hedges. This culminated
in the release of their debut album entitled Last Night. To
date they have dropped six studio albums and won several
awards and nominations. Shekini is a song from their sixth
studio album entitled Double Double, released late 2014.
ORITSEFEMI:
Self styled Musical Taliban and indigene of Delta State,
Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele aka Oritsefemi, was born in
Ajegunle, Lagos State, to a polygamous family. Oritsefemi
grew up on the streets and today the act says all those
experiences have become inspiration for his music. He started
out playing the bass guitar for the Cherubim and Seraphim
Church in Ajegunle and later served as their lead vocalist.
Later on, he formed the now defunct Junglist but after two
albums, the Itsekiri act decided to go solo in 2006 and
released his debut album entitled Elewon . He has four albums
to his credit namely Flog Politicians, Wicked World,
Unfadeable and Musical Taliban. Double Wahala was the
track that took the Ajegunle musician to the main stream.
…And the people’s verdict:
It’s Double Wahala –Vitalis Ighabor, businessman
Double Wahala is more popular than Shekini. It is currently a
must-play for disc jockeys at major events and on radio
across Africa and it has even won awards and nominations for
Oritsefemi so I prefer it to Shekini. Besides its message is
more meaningful.
It’s Shekini –Ekanem Glory, undergraduate
Shekini is more popular because it is one of the songs
trending across Africa currently. One thing About P-Square is
that there is always something seductive about their songs.
Apart from the fact that they are talented and hardworking,
they usually drop seductive songs which people are forced to
listen to because the songs are addictive.
Like Double Wahala like Bianu Le –Kyrian Anazodo, Civil
Servant
As for me, I can only compare Oritsefemi’s Double Wahala to
Samsong’s Bianu Le and not P-Square’s Shekini. However, I
cannot not recognise any re-mixed song as being good
enough to win award no matter the effort.
Double Wahala more popular – Peace Opara, banker
I can agree that Double Wahala is more popular as we speak.
Shekini on the other hand is not yet well known because it is
a new song unlike Double Wahala that has been there for a
while.
Double Wahala isn’t original
–Ajibade Femi
We shouldn’t compare Double Wahala with Shekini because
Double Wahala is a remix of an existing song done by another
artiste. But Shekini is original in beat, lines and overall
concept. So, no matter how popular Double Wahala seems to
be, Shekini is better.
Shekini more danceable –Okon Emmanuel, entrepreneur
Shekini and Double Wahala are very popular songs especially
among teens and radio stations. And-
The truth is that Shekini has an edge over Double Wahala .
Shekini is more danceable and is suitable for clubs, parties
and other ceremonies unlike Double Wahala. And more
importantly, Shekini is an original song by the popular twin
acts while Double Wahala is a copied version of Fela’s hit.
Too early to rate Shekini –Titi Abiodun, undergraduate
I think that it is too early to rate Shekini, especially as regards
comparing it with an existing hit song. I may have played both
songs but I am sure that many Nigerians are not yet aware of
Shekini. One thing about the song is that even if you are not
cut out for secular music, you will find yourself nodding away
from the beginning of the song till the end because it is warm,
crispy and lively all the way. I am sure that it will win several
awards and nominations before the end of the year.
No basis for comparison – Mileke Bisola, student
Double Wahala and Shekini do not have the same tempo and
shouldn’t be compared to each other. However, I am much
more concerned about quality rather than popularity.

How Tiwa Savage fell in love with Tee Billz

“Love comes to those who believe it and that’s the way it is.”
Indeed, that is the way the Celine Dion lyrics turned out for
the Eminado crooner, Tiwa Savage. Upon return from United
Kingdom (years back), Tiwa had gushed that her Manager,
Tunji Balogun (a.k.a. Tee Billz) is an exceptional man. “We
have worked together and we trust each other. So, I am not
scared that anything negative will come up between us. I
don’t work with fear because fear is not of God.”
Tiwa divulged (at the listening session of her Once Upon A
Time album) that she dedicated the song, Written All over
Your Face to Tee Billz because of the role he played in her
life. “I met him at a time when no one was ready to help me
because I am a female artiste. Whenever I wanted to give up
and cry sometimes, he always encouraged me to be strong
and move on. He is my back bone. I love him because he has
been there for me. He wiped away my shame when he put a
ring on my finger.”
True to his promise at the engagement, Tee and Tiwa became
husband and wife in April last year. Right now, Tiwa is an
expectant mother. On how Tee wiped away her shame with
the engagement ring, Tiwa explained. “In Nigeria, when a lady
is not married and is just focussed on her career, people think
that there is something wrong with her but he understood my
journey. He was able to push me career-wise and encourage
me.”

unbeliever',hence,christians don't engage themselves in
valentine's celebration.
3. Those In The Battle Field: Our patriotic and beloved
Nigeria soldiers in Maiduguri and other parts of the North-
East will definately not be having a one-out time with their
loved ones this season.
4.The Singles: I know many will be on this lane. Many broke
up before the celebration in the aim of dodging his
responsibility during this season whilest some don't have a
date.Majority of these people are the guys 'cos the ladies are
always engage and it's their norm.
5.The Handicaps :By handicaps,I don't mean the handicap the
bettors give to a club whilest staking his game oh,lol.Such
people in this group may include, the dumb, the blind, the
deft, the lame etc. These sets of people would likely go to their
plantation tomorrow being saturday or even stay indoor to
watch GoTv,hence,they don't bother about valentine's day.
6.The Minor Or Under-aged :When I was a lil boy,I used to see
people put on reds cloths, caps on val's day but I didn't know
why they were puting on such on that day not until I was
matured enough to know the reason behind it.So,a minor is
less concerned about val's day,all he cares for is to get his
parents' attention, play around and get his stomach filled to
the brim.
7.The Typical Hustler :The truck pusher, wheel Barrow
pusher,the undertakers,the itenerant trader,the pedestrians,the
hawkers etc hardly think about Love 'cos they don't have the
time for such and hence, less bothered about it.
8.The Village 'papos' And 'Mamos ':These are the old people
in the village usually the Grandpa and grandma. They can
hardly move out 'cos they are too old and those who
can, don't even remember anything like val's day let alone
celebrating it.
9.The Experienced:These categories are the ones who try to
advise their younger ones/sibblings to steer-clear from guys
this period 'cos they've seen the bad side of val's day. These
ladies are in their late 30's trying to caution their sibblings
who aren't adult at the moment. They are experienced and as
such not so bothered about the season as the youths do.
10.The Ugly ones: ]These sets of people have been forcing
themselves on the opposite se.x long before the val's day but
as soon as the day approaches, they all alone. These
categories of people are commonly ladies who don't have any
swag, who put on un-attracting skirts that are long to their
toes, they have no features on their body to attract a guy,the
least goes on and on.As such, they relax in their single
apartment all day.
Feel free to add urs, thanks 2 u all.

Tips To Get Through Valentine's Day If You Are Heart Broken

Even though logically we know it’s just another day
in February, Valentine’s Day can still be really hard
for anyone who’s not in a loving, stable relationship.
This is especially true when you’re heartbroken.
Valentine’s Day becomes about a million times
more difficult when you’ve recently been dumped,
dumped someone, or had your crush stomp on
your heart like a little bug.
But just because you’re feeling especially sad and
lonely doesn’t mean your Valentine’s Day has to be
the worst day ever. Here are some tips on how to get through
Valentine’s Day if you’re heartbroken.
Take A Mini Social Media Break
If you're bummed about Valentine's Day, why would you want
to sign onto Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and see a
barrage of pictures of couples bragging about the gifts they
got or professing their love for one another? You wouldn't.
Consider taking a little break from the Internet for the day so
that you can avoid
anything that may make you feel like punching somebody.
Plan To Do Things That Will Make You Happy
Plan ahead to make sure that your day is filled with things
that will make you happy. It doesn't matter what it is! It could
be watching your favorite movie or eating your favorite food,
or even just sleeping. Just do whatever will make you feel
good about yourself.
Have An Anti-Valentine's Day Celebration
Want to have a reason to feel angry and
bitter? Throw an anti-Valentine's day party for all of your
friends who also hate Valentine's Day. You guys can hit a
park to relieve stress, make fun of whatever you want, and
just have a good time being together.
Buy Yourself A Gift
Who says you can't get a box of truffles and a bouquet of
flowers just because you're single? Go out and buy yourself a
present! It's even better because you know you'll love what
you get. Buy a jewelry of your favorite, foot wears, undies etc..
Go shopping!
Avoid Things That Will Make You Sad
Don't online stalk your ex. Don't think about memories from
your last relationship. Don't focus on the fact that you're
single. Don't do anything that will make you feel totally
bummed out.
Go Out with Friends
If it make you happy to stay home, eat, and binge-watch TV,
go for it. But
if you think staying in bed will only make you more miserable,
find something else to do. Go out with a friend and do
something completely un-Valentine's Day related.
Remember It's Just Another Day
When it comes down to it, just remember that Valentine's Day
is just like any other day. It doesn't have to mean anything if
you don't want it to. Don't focus on it!

Things To Do On Valentine's Day If You Are Single.

V-DAY is not just a day to glorify romance,
it is also a day to celebrate love in general, love for yourself,
your friends, your community and for the world. So if you
don't have a date this Valentine's Day, don't stay at home
and pout. Here are some other things you can do on February
14th to celebrate the day of love.
1. Cook Yourself a Nice Meal. After spending hours at a
voting center, putting together a nice meal for yourself is the
next thing to do. It's practically impossible not to feel good
afterward.
2. Head To a Club . There are nice clubs out there that you
can go to. Most of them are best decorated on February and
their service is always at its best. Go there and enjoy your life.
3. Get yourself together . It may sound strange, but when was
the last time you woke up feeling totally put together? Instead
of moping about being single, use the free time you have on
Valentine's Day evening to get yourself organized. Clean up
your calendar, catch up on laundry, plan ahead for major
things, and get a head start on those works you've been
avoiding. Use the day to finish (or start) something you've
been meaning to tackle. It may sound lame at first, but you
might be surprised at how good you feel after you're done.
4. Send Love Someone Else's Way. Studies show that
kindness spreads like epidemic, so start the epidemic. Do
something nice for another person. Open a door for someone
who needs it, visit an elderly person, spend time with him/her,
help them arrange the house. buy a rose and give it to
someone random on the street, whatever you do, will make
you feel full of love inside.
5. Throw a Party. If you have the money then invite your
friends over to celebrate being fabulous.
6. Love Your Singleness . Think about all the marvelous
benefits of being single, from not fighting over minor issues to
being able to keep your living space as clean or as messy as
you'd like. No unnecessary question like where are you, where
have you b

I RATHER DIE SINGLE THAN GET MARRIED

I just received this mail today from a user he needs your advice pls read below.........
Going by the trend of cheating mostly found among the
female folks especially Nigerian girls, one begins to wonder if
there is still hope for we the unmarried men. Where are the
women of virtue and dignity why has promiscuity become a
norm and way of life among our ladies Are there still good
women out there Are there still ladies who stick to just one
guy irrespective of your financial situation?
I have been scammed and taken for granted by ladies who
took advantage of the love and care i had for them. It
saddens me to know that most Nigerian men have the same
story to tell about our females. How and where can one really
find the love of one's life in this our immorality filled
society?
Your opinions are needed

Aww! This Lady Donated Her Kidney To A Stranger, now They're Gettin Married!!

The past year has been a whirlwind for Ashley McIntyre and
Danny Robinson -- a kidney donor and kidney transplant
patient, respectively, who started the year as strangers and
finished it as fiancés.
Ashley first heard about Danny from her mom, who had
learned about his tragic story on a local Louisville, Kentucky
radio show. Danny was a 25-year-old electrician working full-
time while undergoing 12 hours of dialysis a week to manage
an inflammatory kidney disease called IgA nephropathy. He
needed a transplant, but none of his family members were a
match.
"He lost his father to brain cancer in 2012 and their house
burnt down on Christmas Day in 2011," Ashley told The
Huffington Post. "It was just one thing after the other. Hearing
all of that and knowing he was only 25 was a lot for
anybody."
When asked what compelled her to make such a sacrifice for a
stranger, she simply said,
"I took the whole process very seriously -- I did my research
and everything. But to me, as long as the doctor said I was
fine and I was going to be fine and that it would work for
Danny, it was like, why not give up a kidney to
someone who needs it?"
Ashley and Danny were a match throughout each step of the
pre-transplant testing. She told HuffPost Weddings that she
had been adamant about not meeting Danny and his family
until the surgery seemed like a sure thing; up until that point,
she had been primarily corresponding with his mom. So in
March 2014, they finally met face-to-face with their families
at The Cheesecake Factory.
"I was extremely nervous -- over-the-top nervous," Ashley
said of their first encounter.
"But as soon as we sat down and started talking, it was like
immediately I just felt like I had known him forever. Everything
his mom had told me up until that point was true -- about
him being a truly good human being, just a good person all
the way around. My dad was very taken aback about how put
together he was. He said he could tell he was a genuine
person."
On April 17, 2014, Ashley and Danny went in for surgery at the
University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital in
Lexington. Both procedures were successful -- the transplant
surgeon told The Courier-Journal that there were no
complications in either operation.
But it wasn't until after the transplant that Ashley and
Danny's bond turned into a romantic one. Ashley cites a
Memorial Day Weekend barbecue as the turning point in their
relationship.
"It was really clear early on that this was 'it,'" she told The
Courier-Journal.
On Christmas Day 2014, Danny proposed to Ashley in front of
his family. She said 'yes,' and the pair is expecting their first
child together -- a baby girl they've named Berkli -- in June.
"It still doesn't register to me," Ashley said about the crazy
year they've had. "Before all of this [attention], we don't really
think about our situation. We just live our daily lives. So to
relive it all is kind of surreal, but it's awesome."

Turning Him Into A HUSBAND MATERIAL.

Turning Him Into A HUSBAND MATERIAL.

Change they say, is constant.
I assure you, I have heard the saying, " You can't change
anyone"...I used to believe that until I had a reason to doubt
it... They also say stuff like "Once a cheat always a cheat"
etc.
I do believe Love changes people.
Turning him to a Husband material is all about touching
certain spots in him so much so that IF something happens
and you're no longer together, he never forgets you- You Left
An Indelible Mark In His Heart.
NB: These points can also be followed in a PLATONIC
relationship, not only in a LOVE relationship.
How Can You Turn Him To A Husband Material?
1. Keep Your Standards Genuinely High
Most ladies think that "giving up your standards for him is
one of those things love will should cost you...No! In fact,
giving up your standards shows that all ladies are the same
and both of you (you and him) are just the same meaning-
you can't positively affect him and fix his challenge. If your
stand is no sex, don't lower it to touchings...Keep it high- WE
WILL HATE YOU AT FIRST BUT THEN YOU WILL JUST BE
ONE SHINING DIAMOND in the sky . If you're doing it with
some other guy, it won't be long, he'll find out.
2. Be Real With Him At All Times- Express Emotions
Sometimes.
Don't be too firm and resolute. Be emotional occasionally.
Trying to impress him isn't the key. I had a lady then who
shed tears just because some folks she was leading were so
recalcitrant- As she wept, I loved her more- I can't explain it
but I saw reality in her.
Being real with him means you have to always open up when
you're not comfortable with something but in a mature/ mild
way.
3. Lead Him To Believe In The Supernatural.
Especially, if he doesn't believe in God...
The Supernatural is inexplicable using the human mind. There
is just something when a girl invites a guy to her Church. He
may be a whizz in natural life and work but he feels inept in
this area...How do you feel when you see him turning to
Genesis when the pastor told them to open to Hebrews?
He can't forget you...
4. Don't Put Money As Top Priority
Putting money as top priority makes you like the rest of
'em...If he asks you to cook for him, try as much as possible
to do so much with just little- hard right? Try to...You may
not have a second chance to make a first impression. Some
girls even give...You love him, you see his potentials, isn't it
wise to sow a seed or two? Don't say, he'll leave you when
things get better, not when put all the 7 points to practice.
5. Be Committed In Checking Up On His Goals In Life.
Find out what matters most to him- his vision, goals, purpose
etc. Ask him about it and once in a while remind him... Insist
that he go look for a job, sends his CV to so and so... Every
guy still have baby tendencies- being like a mother to them
energizes them.
6. Teach Him And Make Him Look Like The Teacher.
Mothers are life mentors. So are Real Ladies. Teaching a guy,
you need to be wise, especially when you're not trying to be
selfish. I do this a lot to girls. In teaching, ask questions,
suggest...It's not inferiority, it's courtesy, respect and regard.
7. If You Don't Agree With A Certain Behavior Of His, Create
An Avenue For Him To Correct It.
He didn't call you on your birthday. Call him and insist that he
calls you immediately. Don't take it too personal. He still loves
you nonetheless. By doing so, you're standing out as a Big
Girl and not a Spoilt Brat.
This thread does not promise you that he will change
but ...You will change...
Love changes people in amazing ways. You haven't
experienced it doesn't falsify these points... Maybe you have
to put these to practice thus enhancing your chances of even
finding the guy who won't be a tough but to crack.

8 REASONS WHY NIGERIAN GIRLS ARE THIEVES

NIGERIAN GIRLS ARE THIEVES

1) THEY LOOK FOR VULNERABLE GUYS AND SCAM THEM
WITH LOVE THAT DOESN'T EXIST IN THEIR HEARTS.
2) THEY ARE INTO A TYPE OF BUSINESS CALLED MULTIPLE
BOYFRIENDS. THE HIGHER THE BOYFRIENDS, THEY HIGHER
THE MONEY DERIVED.
3) AN AVERAGE NIGERIAN LADY IS NOT CONCERNED ABOUT
HER MAN'S FUTURE. ALL THEY KNOW IS HIS CURRENT
FINANCIAL SITUATION AND ONCE HE'S BROKE THEY RUN
TO THE NEXT VICTIM ON THEIR LOVE TRAP.
4) THEY ARE LIKE A PLAGUE IN EVERY SERIOUS GUYS LIFE,
THEY DISTRACT YOU FROM YOUR ACADEMICS OR MAKING
MONEY WITH THEIR FAKE LOVE CRIES. DON'T BE
DISTRACTED, THE END GAME IS TO DRILL MONEY OUT OF
YOU TILL YOU GET BROKE.
5). THEY ARE INSATIABLE. HENCE AN AVERAGE NIGERIAN
GIRL KEEPS AS MANY GUYS AS POSSIBLE AND ALL SHE
OFFERS THEM IN RETURN IS PUSSSY MAINTAINED WITH
ALUM TO MAKE HER LOOK TIGHT AND DECENT DOWN
THERE.
6) THEY ARE NOT LOYAL.
7) THEY EAT LIKE GLUTTON AND GROW BELLIES LIKE A
PREGNANT WOMAN. IF YOU DOUBT THIS, WALK TO A
NEARBY EATERY ON THEIR DAY OF FAKE LOVE
CELEBRATION CALLED VALENTINE. YOU WILL SEE THEIR
TABLES FILLED WITH FOODS AND DRINKS THEY CAN'T
AFFORD COURTESY OF A NEW MAGA IN FRONT OF HER
SMILING LIKE A ROASTED GOAT WHILE SHE PATIENTLY
EMPTIES HIS POCKET.
NIGERIAN LADIES SEE RELATIONSHIP AS A POVERTY
ALLEVIATION PROGRAM. ONCE YOU'RE IN THEIR LOVE
TRAP, THEY EXPECT YOU TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITIES THEIR
FATHERS CAN'T TAKE
once you spot a Nigerian girl showing you green light, be
careful as the smile is fake. The quality and quantity of love
you get from her depends on how financially buoyant you are
and what gifts you have to offer

Pinnick banks on Eaglets, Dream Team IV for AFCON 2017

For Nigeria to qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, the
current squad of the Super Eagles must give way for younger
players that are hungry for success.
President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick,
made the submission as part of the positives he took away
from the recently concluded AFCON tournament in Equatorial
Guinea where he officiated as Match Commissioner.
The 2017 Africa cup of Nations qualifiers commences in June,
and Pinnick believed the current crop of players lack the zeal
to represent Africa’s most populous nation, hence his desire
to see younger players drafted in.
“If you look at most teams today, the players are between the
ages of 17 and 22, because these are players that are hungry
and they are the players for the future and this is what we
lack in the Super Eagles.
“There is no hunger in this current Super Eagles team and we
are going to sit together and highlight these issues with the
technical department, and they will analyse it and see if it is
okay for us to implement.
“We also have to organize technical study groups and so on
and this are some of the plans we have for the team.”
Pinnick slammed the current Super Eagles as lacking the
‘zeal’ and ‘national morale’ to represent Nigeria.

US, France and UK close embassies in Yemen amid turmoil

The United States, Britain and France said Wednesday they
were closing their embassies in Yemen amid the turmoil in the
wake of the Shiite rebels’ takeover of the country.
The closures – almost four years to the date since the start of
an Arab Spring uprising that ousted Yemen’s longtime
autocratic ruler – were an ominous sign for the faltering,
U.N.-brokered negotiations between the Houthi rebels and
their political rivals, They also threatened to plunge this
impoverished Arabian Peninsula country further into
international isolation.
Yemen has been in crisis for months, with the Iran-linked
Houthis besieging the capital, Sanaa, and then taking control.
In January, the rebels put U.S.-backed President Abed Rabbo
Mansour Hadi and all his Cabinet ministers under house
arrest, leading to their resignations. Subsequently, the Houthis
– who are followers of the Shiite Zaydi sect in the Sunni-
majority Yemen – dissolved parliament and declared they were
taking over the government.
On Tuesday, the State Department announced it suspended
operations at the U.S. Embassy in Sanaa and relocated
remaining diplomatic personnel “due to the ongoing political
instability and the uncertain security situation.” The embassy
had been operating with only a skeleton staff for some weeks
amid deteriorating conditions.
U.S. officials said the embassy’s closure would not affect
counterterrorism operations against al-Qaida’s Yemen branch
– considered by Washington to be the world’s most
dangerous offshoot of the global terror group. Yemeni officials,
however, say the move was likely to curtail U.S. military
operations in the country.
Yemeni officials said Wednesday that embassy staffers
destroyed files and documents and disposed of firearms
belonging to the embassy guards. They also handed over
Sanaa’s Sheraton Hotel, where staffers had resided for several
years, to the United Nations.
Also Wednesday, Britain’s Minister for the Middle East Tobias
Ellwood urged British citizens still in Yemen to “leave
immediately” as his country’s embassy evacuated its staff.
The French Embassy said it would close on Friday.
“The security situation in Yemen has continued to deteriorate
over recent days,” Ellwood said. “Regrettably, we now judge
that our embassy staff and premises are at increased risk.”
Germany urged its citizens to leave Yemen, Foreign Ministry
spokesman Martin Schaefer said Wednesday.
The diplomatic missions of many Gulf Arab countries, which
backed Hadi and opposed the Houthis, have already evacuated
their staff.
In Sanaa, the Houthis patrolled the streets armed with
Kalashnikov rifles and dressed in a mix of police uniforms and
civilian clothes. They sealed off main boulevards and drove
around in pickup trucks mounted with anti-aircraft guns.
Shops closed early and people mostly stayed home.
The rebels dispersed several scattered anti-Houthi protests,
beating the demonstrators and attacking them with knives as
they tried to march toward the U.N. offices, according to
witnesses. Several people were arrested, they said. The
Yemeni officials and witnesses spoke to The Associated Press
on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized
to talk to media.
Later Wednesday, thousands of Houthi supporters marched in
Sanaa, chanting, “Death to America, Death to Israel” –
echoing similar slogans from Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution.
The Houthis, traditionally based in northern Yemen along the
border with Saudi Arabia, deny they are backed by the Shiite
powerhouse Iran.
They also chanted in support of the rebels’ leader, Abdel-
Malek al-Houthi, who warned critics Tuesday not to stand in
the way of his movement and denounced foreign governments
for removing their diplomats.
“Whoever harms the interest of this country could see that
their interests in this country are also harmed,” al-Houthi said,
speaking on the rebel group’s own Al-Masirah TV network.
