INEC materials being moved to various local government and
wards ahead of tomorrow's elections.

Read the national broadcast by Pres. Jonathan on the 2015 election

President Jonathan this morning addressed the nation in a TV
broadcast where he called on everyone to come out en-mass
to vote for leaders of their choice. What he said below...
Dear Compatriots,
1. As we prepare to go to the polls tomorrow, I have
come before you this morning to express my immense
appreciation for the opportunity you gave me to lead
this great nation of ours in the past four years.
2. I also wish to place on record, once
again, my sincere gratitude for the support you
have given my administration without which the
significant progress we have made in recent
years would not have been possible.
3. In spite of the many challenges we have
had to contend with since 1999, our present
democratic dispensation continues to endure and
grow stronger in keeping with the yearnings and
aspirations of our people.
4. We have all worked very hard to nurture
and strengthen our democratic institutions and
promote the good governance practices which
they were designed to deliver for the better well-
being of our people.
5. I believe I can say without fear of
contradiction that we all clearly cherish the
democracy we now have and will never willingly
give it up for any other form of governance.
6. This much-cherished democracy of ours
is about to be put to the test once again.
7. I urge you all to troop out en-masse to
peacefully perform your civic duty of voting for
leaders of your choice tomorrow.
8. As we do so, let us all - political party
leaders, contestants, party members, party
agents, supporters and ordinary voters alike, be
very conscious of the fact that the eyes of the
entire world are on us.
9. We must therefore comport ourselves in
a manner that will further strengthen our
democracy and consolidate our place in the
comity of truly democratic nations.
10. I made a commitment on assumption of
office to progressively deliver freer, fairer and
more credible elections in our country. In keeping
with that commitment, the Federal Government
has given the Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC) all necessary support to
ensure that it conducts very successful elections
tomorrow and on April 11.
11. We have all been assured that INEC is
fully ready for the elections. I believe that we can
all trust that they are certainly more ready now
than they may have been before security issues
and other concerns necessitated a re-scheduling
of the dates for the 2015 general elections.
12. As an administration, we welcome the
fact that millions of Nigerians who were yet to
receive their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) as
at February 14, and would therefore have been
unfairly disenfranchised if the polls had gone
ahead on that date, have seized the opportunity
of the re-scheduling to collect their cards and
can now exercise their right to vote tomorrow.
13. We are also glad that our gallant Armed
Forces have successfully stemmed the seizure of
Nigerian territories in the North-East by the
terrorist group, Boko Haram.
14. They have recaptured most of the
communities and territories formerly occupied by
the insurgents, making it possible for thousands
of internally-displaced Nigerians to begin
returning to their homes and communities.
15. I heartily commend the very courageous
men and women of our Armed Forces for the
immense sacrifices which they continue to make
in defending the nation and protecting its
citizens.
16. I also thank all Nigerians for keeping
faith with us over the past six weeks.
17. I call on all political parties and
politicians in the country to allow the free,
unfettered will of our people to be expressed
without any hindrance in the coming elections in
keeping with the hallowed principles and tenets
of democratic governance which we all profess.
18. The will of the people freely expressed
through the ballot is the bedrock of all
democracies and ours cannot be an exception.
19. Let us all therefore be prepared, as true
democrats, to graciously accept the outcome of
the elections as the rightful choice of our people
from whom all political powers in our democracy
must emanate.
20. My administration has done its utmost
best in the past four years to deliver on our
promise to positively transform our country.
21. Tomorrow’s election is another very
important milestone as we continue our march
towards the fulfillment of our God-given potential
for greatness.
22. The election offers us another opportunity
to empower leaders of our choice once again, and
to show the world that genuine democracy is
alive and well in our beloved nation.
23. I will like to restate my belief that no
political ambition can justify violence or the
shedding of the blood of our people.
24. I reaffirm once again, my personal
preparedness to ensure fair play during the
elections and to deploy the resources and
institutions of state only in the manner prescribed
by our laws.
25. Let me warn, however, that as President,
Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces, I am
under oath to protect the lives of all Nigerians
and the security of our country at all times. I will
never abdicate my responsibilities in that regard.
26. Democracy allows dissent. It encourages
differences and even fervent disagreements. But
elections must never be mistaken for war or an
opportunity to set fellow citizens against each
other and tear our beloved nation apart.
27. Those who may harbor any intentions of
testing our will by unleashing violence during the
elections in order to advance their political
ambitions should think again as all necessary
measures have been put in place to ensure that
any persons who breach the peace or cause
public disorder during or after the elections are
speedily apprehended and summarily dealt with
according to our laws.
28. The nation’s security agencies are also
fully prepared and ready to deal decisively with
any group or persons who attempt to disrupt the
peaceful conduct of the elections or cause any
form of public disorder.
29. Our dear country, Nigeria is the largest
democracy amongst black nations of the world.
We are a nation of great accomplishments, with a
proud history of evolving affinities.
30. Let us go out tomorrow to vote peacefully
and set a fitting example of political maturity for
other emerging democracies to follow.
31. I wish you all and our dear nation, very
peaceful and successful elections.
32. May God Almighty continue to bless the
Federal Republic of Nigeria.
33. I thank you all.

Why FG, AMCON must pay N132bn to Bi-Courtney, Babalakin

After yet another victorious outing against the Asset
Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON, at the Court of
Appeal in Lagos, Wednesday, Bi-Courtney Limited has
explained why AMCON and the Federal Government must pay
N132 billion damages as earlier ordered by a court.
*Babalakin
Demanding AMCON’s compliance with the order of Justice
G.K. Olotu of the Federal High Court, Abuja, on April 5, 2012,
in the suit number: FHC/ABJ/CS/50/09, in a statement
yesterday, the Chairman of Bi-Courtney Limited, Dr. Wale
Babalakin, explained how AMCON had allegedly attempted to
take over the assets of his companies; how the agency had
failed to obey a court order to pay N132 billion damages, and
how it had deliberately misinformed the public about the facts
of the issues.
Paragraphs three and four of the order stated: “An order
directing the defendant/respondent (Attorney General of the
Federation), being the Chief Law Officer and legal
representative of the Federal Government and all its agents/
agencies, including the government institutions and bodies
responsible for the payment of the sum due to the applicant,
to mandatorily compel the said government institutions and
bodies to immediately comply with the judegment of this court
by making without any further delay the payment of
N132,540,580,304.00 to the Plaintiff/Applicant in fulfilment of
the aforesaid order of this court.
“An order directing the defendant/respondent, being the Chief
Law Officer and legal representative of the Federal Government
to set off from the above-mentioned amount any claims
agreed with the Plaintiff/Applicant to be due from the Plaintiff/
Applicant to any agency of the Federal Government, including
but not limited to the AMCON.’’

Jonathan: Uncommon journey to greatness

President Goodluck Jonathan comes across as one of the
favourites in tomorrow’s election. Having learnt the ropes as a
deputy governor, Vice-President, acting-President and
President, he appears well groomed for the position he is
seeking.
President Goodluck Jonathan
The fact that he is the incumbent President, creates an aura
of edge around him, but that is limited by arguments that
incumbency does not seem to be an asset in this race.
His journey from the creeks of the Niger-Delta region to the
highest office in Nigeria, was obviously very unlikely.
Such journeys are only possible in a few places and hardly
possible in this part of the globe.
Jonathan’s rise from a shoeless son of a local ship builder to
the highest office in the land is a remarkable reflection of the
Shakespearean quote that ‘’Some are born great, some
achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon
them,’’ Jonathan had greatness thrust upon him.
That does not imply that the President did not arm himself
with the prerequisites required for greatness to be thrust upon
him.
Just as his name ‘’Goodluck’’ suggests, Jonathan, who was
born in 1957, has been extremely lucky in his public career,
leading to the belief that he is being favoured by unseen
hands.
Jonathan, who has a doctorate degree in Zoology had often
been at the right place at the right time, thereby becoming a
beneficiary of various top leadership vacuums that had existed
in Nigeria’s political trajectory.
Until mid 1998, he was a deputy director in the Oil Minerals
Producing Areas Development Commission, OMPADEC, residing
in the OMPADEC quarters, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
Sometime late that year, he played host to a former military
man who incidentally, he was meeting for the first time.
For that visit by the then Bayelsa State gubernatorial aspirant,
Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, Jonathan would have by now
been approaching his retirement from the civil service.
Alamieyeseigha, who was accompanied on that trip by one
Gordon Bozimo, went there with the simple request of telling
Jonathan, who he had never met to resign from the services
of OMPADEC to become his running mate.
Though Jonathan accepted after some time, Alamieyeseigha
was to change his mind upon some intrigues that arose and
had proposed to drop Jonathan from the ticket but one
incident or another delayed the process of substituting him
putting him in good luck to become the deputy governor of
Bayelsa State at the advent of the Fourth Republic.
In the second term of that administration, luck again fell on
Jonathan in December, 2005 when Alamieyeseigha was
removed from office. Jonathan was not directly involved and
he according to sources took safety in Bauchi under the
protective comfort of the then governor of the state, Adamu
Mu‘azu while the political intrigues played out in his native
Bayelsa State.
After becoming governor, all he wanted was to win the 2007
election and was on his way in that regard after riding the tide
of incumbency to edge out the more rooted Timi Alaibe. But
his course and the nation’s course was changed when luck
again smiled on him to pick up the vice-presidential ticket of
the party.
Not long after the luck of Jonathan came calling again when
he was elevated to the presidency in 2010 after the death of
President Umaru Yar‘Adua. Before then he had become he had
by the Doctrine of Necessity, projected by the National
Assembly been declared as acting president.
In the election that followed in 2011, Jonathan triumphed over
two of his main challengers to become the first person in the
history of Nigeria to have served as deputy governor,
governor, vice president, acting president and president.
It is a record that has put him as the most experienced
executive office holder in the history of Nigeria.
His record, however, is a matter of divided opinions between
his passionate supporters and his critics.

Remember 1986? How Jonathan saved Nigeria from its imminent worst disaster

Sponsored post.
August 21, 1986. 1,700 people and 3,000 herds of cattle and other livestock died after the eruption of a volcanic Lake Nyos in Cameroon. The Lake represents the biggest ecological (flood) threat to Nigeria. This disaster, if allowed to occur, will destroy several states in Nigeria especially Taraba, Benue, Cross River, Kogi and Delta and it is imminent. (Think about Haiti for 1 Minute, that’s a real Disaster there!) What did Jonathan do?
Yes it his Job (Hian)! Were there not many other governments and Presidents in this Country that did nothing about it? But no, he would not wickedly, or like the others before him ignore the future’s ugly reality. President Jonathan gave competent Female Minister Mrs. Sarah Ochekpe the go-ahead and approved 100% funding of $1bn for one of the country’s most ambitious Projects; the Kashimbilla Multipurpose Buffer Dam Project which will not just prevent the devastating flood but harness its potentials to become a Major Source of Life.
The Dam presently at over 90% completion will now serve to ensure;
Water Supply (60,000 Cu.m/Day), Irrigation (Net – 2,000Ha) and provide Electricity - Hydropower generation: (40MW)
The Scope of the Project covers: Construction of the Main Dam; Construction of Water Treatment Plant; Construction of an Access Road; Construction of an Hydropower Plant; Development of Irrigation Network; Construction of Air Strip and Rehabilitation of Kashimbilla - Jato-Aka road (21km). Photos below:
To date, remarkable progress has been achieved in all the various parts of the project. The Kashimbilla Dam project is therefore a proactive preemptive response by the Federal Government of Nigeria to the report of the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) of great catastrophe that might result from imminent collapse of Lake Nyos.
What should be done for a man who has done this much? Thank him

British Airways flight is aborted just minutes after take-off - and you won't believe why

A British Airways flight was forced to return to England because of a 'smelly poo' left in a toilet.
Councillor Abhishek Sachdev, from Hertfordshire, says he was on the BA flight to Dubai when it was forced to return to Heathrow.

It is understood that cabin crew unsuccessfully tried to fix the problem, but the flight was forced to turn around when the odour became unbearable for passengers.

Coun Sachdev, a town councillor in Herftordshire, tweeted:
The Tory councillor, said the flight departed on time Thursday night and everything seemed fine until the captain made an announcement about 30 minutes after take-off when the seven-hour flight was over Belgium.

Coun Sachdev told the Mail Online: "The pilot made an announcement requesting senior cabin crew, and we knew something was a bit odd. About 10 minutes later he said you may have noticed there’s a quite pungent smell coming from one of the toilets. He said it was liquid faecal excrement, those are the words he used. He said it’s not a technical fault with the plane, and he was very adamant about that."

Passengers were then told that the plane would be forced to return to London for health and safety reasons, said Coun Sachdev.

It is believed that passengers were due to board another flight, but what was due to be a three-hour wait turned into a 15 hour delay.

A British Airways spokesperson told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: "We’re very sorry for the discomfort to our customers. We provided them with hotel accommodation and rescheduled the flight to depart the following day’s lunchtime on an alternative aircraft."

Award-winning TV journalist Adaure Achumba got engaged to her man Wesley Ballance yesterday March 14th. Wes popped the question as they celebrated her birthday with friends in the US. They met in college in 1999 but were just friends, and only reconnected late last year and are now engaged. Amazing. Big congrats to my dear friend! Lol. We became friends and hung out in the same crew. We went bar hopping on #FranklinStreet and a few games. I failed my first semester cos i was always hanging out with him and @kidkhome and the rugby boys at the pit in front of Lenoir Cafeteria. How I Taught My Boastful Date A Lesson

From one if my badest users lol read below------

Ever Gone On A Date With A Braggart Before?
I went out on a date on Sunday with this guy who had this
very amazing personality. We started talking and I was
initially enjoying it till he started bragging. He bragged
throughout the night about what he has achieved in his young
life, flaunting his phones and how he has travelled around the
world and all those unnecessary stuff. I was starting to get
bored so I pretended to doze off and he shook me up and
asked me if I wanted to go home. I just told him he was
talking too much so I wanted to go home.
He asked me out on Tuesday and it was even worse than
Sunday. The guy bragged so much I decided to teach him a
lesson. I ordered so much food I didn't even touch it. He kept
asking if I wouldn't eat and I told him I will. This guy was
insisting on me ordering more stuff since money is not a
problem to him. I ordered more and ordered for a takeaway for
my sis. But I swear I didn't eat anything. The guy started
complaining when he had to pay saying I had wasted the food
and money and I told him he can let them pack it for him.
LOL.
He has been calling me since and i ve not not answered.I dont
think i want to date a guy like dat but if he insist i will show
him pepper.

Telling Them About Her Past Relationship Keep Driving ThemAway- Advise Her.

Please read and share your thoughts.....................
''I'm a divorced lady. My marriage to my ex was based on
lots of deceit with
both physical and emotional abuse. The only option was just
for it to be
dissolved. Mind you I prayed and fasted but water could not
just hold. I
had to question God for putting me through such pain and
trauma but I guess his plan for me was for good.
But my problem now is each time I meet someone nice and I
mention to him that I'm divorced, the relationship ends. He'll
apologize and say I've done
nothing wrong, I have a good personality but he knows his
family will not accept me cos of my marital status.
It makes me cry a lot. I'm the quiet
type and keep to myself a lot. I've tried talking to some
people and they
advice I stop telling them am divorced.
But how will I keep such a thing away from someone that has
maybe
professed love to you even when the person has gone to the
extent of
telling you he'll like to spend the rest of his life with you?
My conscience won't let me but I don't know again the right
thing to do.
Right now I feel lonely and frustrated, no boyfriend or man to
call my
own. Scared of loving again because I don't want to fall in
love and be
told same thing.
I just want to know how to go about it, open up or don't even
talk about
it.''

Relationship Between AA And SS

from a user view message below :
Hey Guys,
I'm in a fix right now. I created this account to seek advice
about my current situation. I have seen some very good and
some not-so-good advice being dished out here. I really hope
I get more of the former.
So there's this lady who I'm interested in dating. infact, I was
about to ask her out yesterday when one thing led to another
and she told me she was SS.
Here's a little background to this:
1. I consider myself a good guy. I'm not a player and I can't
date you if I don't see us heading to the aisle. I have been in
relationships before which have ended but I don't date with
the intention of ending it.
2. Because of Number 1, I don't just ask out anyone. I start
by being friends and then if I see a future, I'll then take it
forward else we mutually friendzone ourselves. I'm different,
Bite me.
3. This Lady ticks most of the boxes I think is important. And
I actually believe(d) that this would be my Last Bus stop.
However, I don't want to get a wife who'll leave me soon.
4. I'm AA
I'll be grateful if you guys help me with answers to this:
a) Should I go on with this? or should I free her? or go
against everything I believe in and break off the relationship
once her next crises comes. (OMG, that's brutal. I'm cringing
just writing that)
b) I know if we have kids, they'll be AS. What chances of
survival does she have? at least to get up until 70. She's 25
right now.
Searching for a wife is hard. I really don't want to lose a good
one ( If I don't have to ) and start searching again.

Why Are Most Tattooed Nigerian Ladies Aggressively Rude,Unreliable&Promiscuous?

Personally speaking and generally summarizing, most tattooed
Nigerian ladies with multiple piercing are aggressively ill-
mannered, rude, promiscuous; they live a life that head
towards destruction and they are adamant to correction. They
are quick to anger, they talk without manners and wouldn't
hesitate to tear you to pieces if you give a contrary opinion
about tattoo
However, statistical evidence showing that barely would you
see a responsible lady that lives a life worth emulating be
caught doing all these things. More so, I have also noticed
that many guys only date them as girlfriends and will not take
them to their parents because it's an inscription that they are
irresponsible, wayward and are not the right prospects for a
responsible man. In fact, I dare not take those kinds of ladies
to my parents
Though many of our mothers have old school patterns on their
body and are not judged falsely, but this is 2015, things are
now taking turns and the world has evolved into a different
thing entirely. It takes the grace of God to find a lady a
tattooed lady with waist chain, anklet and multiple piercing
with a good character
On a second thought, one's physical however has nothing to
do with attitude and not all tattooed ladies are rotten. As a
matter of fact, it looks like there are magical powers that goes
with tattoo which makes most tattooed Nigerian ladies rude,
unreliable, promiscuous and irresponsible
Ladies and gentlemen, let's be practical here and take the
western culture out of it. Remember we are talking about
Nigerian ladies

My Girlfriend's Love For Money Pushed Me Into Robbery ––Armed Robber Confesses

Guys, please don't allow any girl push you into nonsense so
you don't end up in regrets. Some of these so called fine girls
their own brothers are broke, yet other girls agree to marry
them. So, any girl who can't marry you for who you are, just
let her go and live your life with a virtuous woman.
As you read this, operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery
Squad, SARS, Enugu State police command, have arrested
Uchenna Ikwuegbu who was allegedly on the verge of
launching a robbery attack on residents of Maryland axis of
Enugu.
Uchenna was arrested on February 16, following surveillance
reports. He was arrested with a locally-made pistol, cut to
seize with two live cartridges.
In his confession, Uchenna said:
“I acquired the gun from a timber mill at Maryland. The urge
to meet up with the demands from my girlfriend, Chinaza,
living at Uwani axis of Enugu, propelled me into robbery.
“I had acquired the gun to unleash robbery attacks on
residents of Maryland in order to dispossess them of their
valuables. I was on the verge of carrying out the act when the
operatives swooped on me. I do not know how they knew I
was carrying a gun. I am so ashamed of myself now. I do not
know what led me into this.
“My parents are crying their hearts out over this incident. They
are so disappointed in me. I want to call on teenagers like me
to shun robbery and other nefarious activities because the
security operatives are always watching.

8 Things You Should Never Do For A Lover You’ve NotMarried

Don't do these 8 things in a non-committal relationship
because, though love is spontaneous and doesn’t hold back, it
pays to be cautious, especially when there is no formal
commitment from the so-called lover.
Love is about giving in and giving up a few things, but…
1. Don’t change your personality. Now, they say you should
change for the one you love. Yes, that is true. But when the
changing comes from you alone and it seems like you’re being
re-manufactured, then something is wrong. No man or woman
should attempt to change you entirely, unless you really have
bad habits. Aside this, in the event that you’re separated, the
hurt will be worsened by the fact you won’t recognise
yourself. You’ll be nothing without that person. A person who
loves you must accept the real you.
2. Don’t abandon your dreams: This is another one you should
be careful about. Two people in love ca exist without killing
each other’s dreams. It is a good thing for both of you to alter
your careers and dreams to accommodate each other. But
there is a limit. A true lover would aid your dream, ask you to
abandon it. Work out a middle way. If you lose your dream for
a relationship that is not yet solid, marriage especially, sorry
will be your consolation when it ends.
3. Don’t abandon your friends and family. Hmmm, it really is
sad that some people let love kill their relationships with kith
and kin that they had before meeting their lover. They do not
realise that friends are the only thing you can fall back to
when you hit life’s road bumps. If a lover makes it a case to
break your link to friends and family, please exit. They should
find a way to accommodate your friends. If you lose your
friends to that relationship, what happens if it ends?
4. Don’t set up businesses or share details of official
information. Many people think it is love to expose their entire
business plans and financial information to a supposed lover.
But this is dangerous. A lot of people ‘love’ just to deceive
and maybe swindle. If they have access to sensitive official
details, like ATM card pins, internet bank passwords, property
document details, etc, you are exposed to danger!
5. Don’t become a donor agency. Lovers should help each
other, morally and financially. However, don’t be saddled to a
leech, a tick who only feeds off you. You’re not a bank
account or donor agency to anyone. As you give, make sure
it’s reasonable, and for genuine needs. A lover who always
returns for more is a gold-digger, a fraud that you don’t need.
Small money gifts are cool, but should not become the norm
and basis of love.
6. Don’t give unofficial loans, bad personal investments.
Loans are relationship killers. If a lover wants huge sums of
money from you, be wise and make it legal. At worst, make
sure the money is deposited to his/her bank account, to leave
a trail that can be used to retrieve it in case you guys fight.
To withdraw N200,000 and give to your lover in cash as a
loan is not wise. Instead, transfer via bank and write ‘loan’. If
the money is big a signed IOU might be necessary. Also avoid
foolish investments like setting up businesses or funding
projects without legal documents. This may look rigid, but
many people have killed ex-lovers because they could not
retrieve their ‘investments’.
7. Don’t give unfettered access to private emails and social
media accounts. In these modern times, social media
accounts are very sensitive. It should be as personal as
possible. Making it a public affair for a transient lover is bad,
bad and bad. Imagine the damage they could do if you break
up? He or she could for example lock you out of your own
account or even send out compromising messages through
your account.
8. Don’t reveal compromising information or damaging
materials. When we fall in love, there is the temptation to talk
too much, way too much than we need to. There should a lot
of discussion between people in a relationship. But some
things should never be said to some people who are not yet
fully committed to a relationship. Sharing intimate secrets will
put you up for future attacks. Ex-lovers are fond of sharing
demining information, like nudes or private talks.
Love doesn’t hold back, it is spontaneous, it is forgiving and
every other good thing.
But it pays to be cautious, especially when there is no formal
commitment from so-called lover.
To be in love is to love with wisdom and caution…

5 Classes Of People That Get The Most Beautiful Wife!

I have always wondered why some people marry ugly wives
and some get beautiful wives. It is not easy oo, you have to
take eyes to the market (moju lo soja).
1. Doctors: This is a highly rated job in the world. Women are
attracted by their intelligence and life savings acts. This sets
don't stress themselves up to get a good and beautiful
woman. People like Nneka123 will easily fall for them.
2. Bankers: hmmm! I wish i'm a banker. I went to a bank
days ago, come and see fyn girls as them plenty. The bankers
don't have problem to get the best of women. Thank God it's
now a condition whereby you will have to write your name
and phone number in a ledger before you leave the bank. Na
copy and paste stuff. GBAM! Dating follows. missjenna kinda
suite this type of people .
3. Comedian/Radio Presenters.
This set of people are soft minded, and they they have what is
called 'sugarcoated mouth'. Just few, charming, outspoken
words will get their heart for you they are not shy to face
anybody, even if na mizMycoli.

women love affluence and pastors have it.
5. Politicians:
Not much. But you know they are ontop of the world. They
have the fame, money, etc....

9 Types Of Men Women Avoid!

We all know that in as much as women are attracted to
certain types of men, there are other types of men that
women go out of their way to avoid. Here are some of
them.
The Non-Committed Guy
>>This is the guy that tells you he doesn’t want a
relationship immediately, the guy that can’t/won’t call
you his girlfriend when it’s way overdue, or the guy
that’s over 30 and hasn’t had at least two serious
relationships (or one very serious, 1+ years relationship).
It really doesn’t matter what his issues are, the bottom
linen a relationship with you. Do not try to change his
mind, turn him around, or make him want it. You’re just
going to waste your time.
The Mama's Boy:
>>The Mama’s Boy probably still lives with his parents in
their house, allowing Mom to iron his clothes, make his
bed and cook his meals. When a man delights in being
waited on hand-and-foot by his mom, there’s trouble. He
always asks his Mom before making major decisions in
his life and its a big problem for you if his Mom doesn’t
like you.
The underachievers:
>>You know the type. He sits at home playing video
games all day and then goes to hang out with his guys
at the club at night. If he has no hobbies, skills, or future
aspirations outside of his living room, you know you’ve
just encountered the attractive but exceedingly lazy
underachiever. When searching for a man, you should
always look for confidence, ambition and stability.
The Control Freak
>>Going out with this man is like dating your very strict
father. At first, his embrace may seem warm and secure.
But before long, you’ll be suffocating. It’ll start with
going to the restaurants he chooses, seeing the movies
he picks, hanging out with his friends and not yours. But
eventually he tries to dictate everything, from what you
wear to how you spend your free time. With a control
freak, you have to give up more and more of your
separate experiences, separate activities, separate
friends. And then it goes deeper to separate thoughts
and feelings until you no longer have an identity of your
own.
The Gadget Freak:
>>The gadget freak always likes to be called a ‘big boy’.
He has the hottest phone and a decked-out luxury car. In
other words, this guy has a lot of material things keeping
him busy. As a grown-up kid who can’t resist the new
plaything of the moment, he has a hard time keeping his
attention on women. After all, who can compete with
technology when it changes at lightning speed? This guy
cares more about stuff than people. (Bad sign.) With this
kind of outlook, women who date The Gadget Freak are
often left wondering if an upgraded model will make them
obsolete.
The Over Intimate Guy
If your guy is too eager for some intimacy, it’s never a
good sign. For one, he may act as if he’s extremely into
you just to get you into bed as soon as possible. He’s
the kind of guy that looks deep into your eyes and tells
you he never felt like this with any girl before just a few
days after meeting him! This guy comes across as
incredibly affectionate and might confuse you. If he’s the
player type, this is all an act to get you into bed.
The Cheap Guys
He invites a woman to dinner and then subtly suggests
she should pay the bill. He never splurges to buy her gifts
and he always opts for the cheapest stuff available. He
makes her feel like they’re on a tight budget from the
very first date. It’s just a few weeks into the relationship
and he’s already asking her for loans he would never pay
back. Ladies, this is someone to run away from.
The Cheaters
The Cheater doesn’t try to hide the fact that he’s
checking out other women while in her presence; he flirts
with the waitress and he even goes as far as to brag
about his past girlfriends. Overall, he lacks respect for
women. It’s a sad fact of life that some men are apt to
cheat on their wives and girlfriends, it should become
clear that most cheaters won’t change. Ladies, it’s time
to let him go once and for all. Send the cheater packing
and save the relationship that matters most – the
relationship you have with yourself!
The One Who Doesn’t Like Your Family
>>Nobody has a perfect family, but if your guy
consistently says he doesn’t want to be around your
family, refuses to attend events where they are present,
or is generally rude to them, this is a huge warning sign
for problems in the future. He should love you for you,
not your family, and he should respect you enough to
treat them with kindness, regardless of how he feels.

7 Clues To Tell Your Spouse Is Lying

1. Is her face giving it away?
You may think a smile can easily disguise your true feelings,
but the expressions that flash across a liar’s face will give
away what she’s really thinking—whether she knows it or not.
Experts advise paying close attention to hard-to-hide micro-
expressions; these clues are often so difficult to detect that
even trained experts have trouble discerning them. But you
may be able to spot a liar by the red color on her cheeks,
since anxiety can cause people to blush. Other indicators of
lying? Flared nostrils, lip nibbling, deep breathing, and rapid
blinking, which hint that the brain is working overtime.
2. Does the body language follow the story?
It’s more important to examine a person’s entire demeanor,
as there’s no one feature that’s apt to give away a liar.
Honesty is characterized by features that are in sync with one
another—so besides posture, note the fit between face, body,
voice, and speech. Like an animal avoiding detection, a liar
may pull his arms and legs inward or keep his movements to
a minimum—anything to appear smaller. Liars often shove
their hands behind their back because those fidgety digits
might give them away.
3. How is the person smiling?
A smile can sometimes mask a person’s true feelings. Pay
close attention to how a person smiles as well as other facial
movements. You may be able to detect the emotions he or
she is trying to hide—such as fear, anger, and disgust. A true
smile will incorporate both a person’s lips and eyes.
4. How is the person speaking?
Although a change in voice can be the tip-off to spot a liar,
experts say that to be sure, you should also pay attention to a
person’s speech rate and breathing pattern—if either speeds
up or slows down, chances are you’re not hearing the whole
truth.
5. What is the person saying?
Liars tend to avoid exclusionary words like “but,” “nor,”
“except,” and “whereas,” because they have trouble with
complex thought processes. Also, they are less likely to use
the words “I,” “me,” and “mine.” In their attempts to distance
themselves psychologically from their tall tales, liars will tend
to communicate using fewer personal pronouns.
6. Is your subject behaving uncharacteristically?
Experts believe changes in a person’s baseline—how she
generally conducts herself—are worthy of your attention. You
should weigh rate of speech, tone of voice, posture, and hand
gestures against what you know, along with the context of the
situation. When your husband says “I loved the tie you bought
me” while he’s wearing a tight smile that doesn’t reach his
eyes, expect to see him in a turtleneck.
7. Is the question simple or embarrassing?
It’s normal for someone to look away when asked a difficult
question. But when someone avoids your gaze when asked a
simple question, you should be suspicious.
